Review of "Black Dawn"
Saul Climer, a depressed alcoholic and wannabe writer with a death wish is the protagonist. Antonella Rosario aka Pearla, a voodoo worshiper is the antagonist. Saul, after a drunken dream, awakens to find evidence that maybe what he experienced really wasn't a dream. His dreams take him to different places, interacting with different people even Pearla. As the plot thickens, Saul's dreams become more intense and Pearla goes on a killing spree with the help of a voodoo god, Kalfu. Blackwell serves up a supporting cast to enhance the narrative as well as time travel, mystery and murder. The ending may be a forecast of our future. 3 stars
