This is a tale of a young woman who must look past lies, and deceit to discover the truth of her mysterious heritage. Fearless to the task, she finds danger only a few steps ahead or behind her throughout this sweet story. While the plot provides more twists and turns than Lombard Street, Hope also does a wonderful job describing the beauty of the island of Jamaica. This is a story for everyone to read and enjoy. 4 Stars
