Review of "Ten Poems for the Hungry"

"Poetry is a form of literature that uses aesthetic and rhythmic qualities of language such as phonaesthetics, sound symbolism, and meter to evoke meanings in addition to, or in place of the prosaic ostensible meaning."

When I read this little book of poems, I got a sense of Blue, who she is, what she saw, how she felt, and most of all what she discovered. Blue found peace, love, and self-worth and rose above the trash heap to become a treasure. Let Blue inspire us all to really look at what we see and change the way we see it. 5 Stars
